Clement Tongi

Clement Tongi is an experienced project management professional with certifications in PMP, PRINCE2, and PROSCI. Currently serving as Project Manager in the Project Management Office at Kenya Power since August 2021, Clement leads efforts to establish and maintain project management standards across the company. Prior roles include Project Manager at the Konza Technopolis Development Authority, where Clement contributed to developing a sustainable smart city, and Project Manager at the National Bank of Kenya. Previous leadership positions also encompass Chief Executive Officer at United Nations DT SACCO and Head of Credit, with extensive experience in credit analysis at KCB Bank Group. Clement holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Project Financing and PPP from the University of Nairobi, supplemented by a Postgraduate Certificate in Project Finance from Middlesex University and a Master’s Degree in Project Planning and Management.
