Mwenda Ruona Kageenu

Mwenda Ruona Kageenu has a strong background in supply chain management and manufacturing. MWENDA has held several leadership positions in various companies. From 2016 to the present, they served as the Director of Supply Chain at Kenya Wine Agencies Limited (KWAL), where they were responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain, including sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, and product development. MWENDA successfully tripled the manufacturing volume in six years. Prior to KWAL, they worked as the Head of Supply Chain at Highlands Mineral Water Co. Ltd from 2013 to 2016. Before that, they had an extensive career at Coca-Cola Sabco, where they held roles such as Country Planning & Continuous Improvement Manager, Manufacturing Manager, and Manufacturing Unit Manager. MWENDA started their career as a Plant Manager at Brookside Dairy Limited.

MWENDA RUONA KAGEENU completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Technology from Egerton University in the years 1995-2000. In terms of executive development programs, they attended the Stellenbosch Business School twice. In 2011, they completed the Leadership Executive Development Program, and in 2018, they participated in the Executive Development Program with a focus on Leadership.
