Issalin Lopez

Issalin Lopez currently serves as the Associate Director of Multicultural Recruitment & Admission at Deerfield Academy since August 2021. Concurrently, Issalin has been a Campus Tour Guide and Senior Admissions Fellow at Kenyon College since March 2018, where responsibilities include conducting interviews with prospective students and engaging families through information sessions. Previous roles at Kenyon College also encompass Resident Advisor and Diversity Advisor, focusing on student development and addressing discrimination. Issalin's research experience includes working as an Undergraduate Lab Research Assistant in psychology, contributing to studies on binge drinking and implicit bias. Additionally, Issalin has held positions as College Counseling Assistant at Phillips Academy and Policy and Research Intern at Children's Defense Fund, as well as an Administrative Assistant Intern at Tools for Peace. Issalin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Kenyon College in 2021.
