Brett Kuhnert has extensive work experience in a variety of roles. Brett began their career in 2000 as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in rural Morocco, where they completed 170 hours of technical and cross-cultural training and designed and implemented basic hygiene education lessons. In 2003, they worked as an Academic Advisor and Admissions Representative for Cardean Learning Group. In 2006, they were a Peace Corps Campus Recruiter for Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs. In 2007, they were an Intern on the Monitoring and Evaluation Team for the Millennium Challenge Corporation. In 2008, they worked as an Administrative Officer and Financial Management Officer for the Peace Corps. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at Kenzai Inc. as a Business Manager and Trainer, and then at Mathscribe as the Business & Outreach Manager. Since 2019, they have been an Account Executive at OutboundEngine and the Director of Operations at Kenzai Inc.
Brett Kuhnert received a BS in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1997. In 2004, they obtained an MBA in Business Administration from the New York Institute of Technology. From 2006 to 2008, they earned an MPA in Public Policy Analysis, Economic Development, and Public Financial Administration from Indiana University Bloomington. Brett also attended the USDA Graduate School, but did not receive a degree. In 2012-2013, they obtained a Certificate in Project Management from Georgetown University. In 2018, they received a Mini-Certificate in Real World Risk Management from the Real World Risk Institute LLC. In 2022, they obtained a PN Level 1 Nutrition Coaching Certification from Precision Nutrition and a Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT) from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
