Ghazala was admitted as a solicitor in 2003 and joined Keoghs’ London office as a partner in 2017.

Ghazala deals with multi-party technically orientated construction and engineering related disputes. In 2012 she was involved in landmark litigation on behalf of the UK electricity distribution industry culminating in the decision in Smith & Others v South Eastern Power Networks [2012] EWHC 2541 (TCC).

On the strength of her in-depth understanding of the industry framework she has many years’ experience of advising on key industry issues affecting electricity distributors and suppliers. Particular areas of expertise include statutory and regulatory framework, distribution networks and connections, commercial supply disputes, fire claims, insurance, commercial supply disputes and construction and engineering disputes.

Ghazala has many years’ experience of dealing with complex and high value recovery claims and advises insurers on all classes of property loss including fire, flood, product liability, business interruption claims and coverage disputes.
