Joanne Farrell

Joanne has acted exclusively as a defence litigator in the insurance sector since qualification as a solicitor in 2004. Joanne’s experience extends to a wide range of insurance claims from motor claims to EL, PL, occupational illness and clinical negligence claims on behalf of major UK insurers, self-insured companies and other defence organisations.

Joanne works alongside the Keoghs Healthcare team. Over the last 20 years, she has developed a special interest in negligence claims against healthcare providers representing a wide variety of clinicians including GPs, orthopaedic surgeons, obstetricians, ophthalmologists, maxillofacial surgeons, plastics surgeons, nurses, nursing homes and private hospitals.

For the last 12 or so years, Joanne’s practice has specialised in high value catastrophic and complex personal injury claims being those involving devastating spinal injuries, serious brain injuries, multiple severe orthopaedic and crushing injuries and fatal claims.
