Karen Berry

Karen joined Keoghs in 2004 from a commercial law firm to focus on commercial debt recovery. She is a qualified legal executive and has been a fellow of CILEx since 1996. As technical manager for the enforcement team, she is experienced in recovering payments made to fraudsters before their fraud was identified. She also seeks to recover costs awards made against fraudulent claimants.

Karen works with clients to decide on the appropriate strategy for each case, which may not always be to recover monies but sometimes maximizing inconvenience and disruption for the fraudster. She is skilled in deploying all the tools at her disposal including charging orders and bankruptcy. Karen also provides technical support to the team internally and to insurer clients, including training as and when required.
