Oliver Poate began their work experience in 2019 at McDonald's, where they first held the role of Crew Member, responsible for providing customer service, food preparation, and order assembly. Oliver then advanced to the position of Crew Coach in December 2020. In 2021, Oliver joined Officeworks as a Team Member before transitioning to HSI as a Jr Network Administrator in November. Later in the year, Oliver also volunteered at the Sydney Bus and Truck Museum. In 2023, Oliver joined Keolis Downer as a Customer Service Officer and later became a Relief Charters Coordinator.
