Rahul Kumar

Rahul Kumar is the current EVP of Market Development & Innovation at Keolis Transit America. Rahul has over 10 years of experience in the public transit industry, with a focus on developing and designing new transit solutions that improve access and provide equitable emerging public transit modes. Prior to their current role, Rahul served as the President of Innovate Mobility, a full-service public transit consultancy, for 4 years and 4 months. During their time there, they led the company's efforts in building smart, sustainable solutions to help cities modernize their transit systems and deploy new modes such as autonomous on demand shuttles and digital solutions like mobility as a service (MaaS). Before that, Rahul was the Executive Vice President of Market Development and Innovation at Keolis Group for 3 years and 3 months, where they oversaw the development of new transit technologies and solutions that helped cities modernize their transit systems. Prior to their work in the public transit industry, Rahul worked in marketing and growth strategy at Ford Motor Company for 7 months. Rahul also served on the board of The Fund for Our Economic Future for 8 months.

Rahul Kumar has a MBA from the University of La Verne with a focus on practical uses of technology in transportation and the development of policies to support this. Rahul also has a degree in Organizational Management from the University of La Verne. In addition, they have completed the Transit Operations Planning Program (ITOP) at UC Berkeley and the Transit and Paratransit Management program at the University of the Pacific.
