David Herbert

David Herbert is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and project management across various organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Project Management Office and Programme at KeolisAmey Metrolink since May 2018, David drives the delivery of strategic business objectives while fostering collaborative leadership and client relationships. As the Non-Executive Director (Chair) for Ansar Projects under Thera Trust from January 2020 to March 2024, responsibilities included local Board management, governance, and strategic direction. Previously, David held the position of Head of Business Innovation at Progress Housing Group, where the focus was on quality assurance and business efficiencies, and served as a Strategic Police Leader at Lancashire Constabulary, recognized for visionary and innovative leadership. David holds a BA (Hons) in Government and Politics from the University of Central Lancashire and A levels from Cardinal Newman College Preston.
