Geoff Bishop

Geoff Bishop has over 25 years of experience in IT and operations management, currently serving as the Head of IT and Analytics at KeolisAmey Metrolink since February 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing the Manchester tram network's IT and analytics initiatives. Prior to this, Geoff held the position of Principal Operations Manager at Amey, managing a £16 million Ministry of Defence vehicles IT infrastructure contract and leading the software support and test team. Earlier roles include Systems Engineer at Connect Systems LLP and Senior Technical Systems Installer at MICROS Systems UK Limited, focusing on the installation and support of hardware and software systems. Geoff's career began as Deputy General Manager at Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, managing a hotel operation before transitioning into technology and IT management. Educational qualifications include a degree in Hospitality from Oxford Brookes University.
