Mr. Fleming assists clients with a wide variety of environmental compliance services including EHS compliance management and multimedia permitting, reporting, and auditing. Alongside those services, he specializes in providing clients with custom software development and tech solutions for various applications, which are centered around workflow management, data management, and increased efficiency and transparency.

Mr. Fleming leads a team of KERAMIDA professional staff responsible for ongoing environmental compliance for clients in various industrial sectors including foundries, automotive, utilities, and many other types of manufacturing. His compliance experience includes air, EPCRA, Risk Management Plan, spill prevention, stormwater, waste and wastewater permitting, site inspection, reporting, auditing, and enforcement response. Mr. Fleming has also provided comprehensive on-site EHS Management for multiple large manufacturers.

Mr. Fleming’s highlighted sector expertise is in the metals industry, where he has provided comprehensive environmental compliance management and due diligence investigation. Examples of his work include on-site EHS management at an aluminum foundry and a major due diligence project for clients in the recycling industry. The due diligence project includes managing a team that investigates ~2,000 locations per year and produces ~8,000 due diligence reports per year; and overseeing the development and implementation of a custom online portal that accepts customer orders and payment, distributes final reports, and manages internal workflow.

In addition to his environmental expertise, Mr. Fleming oversees the design and implementation of custom software solutions for KERAMIDA and the clients by working closely with the 3rd-party software development team to ensure all project/design/technical requirements are met while simultaneously delivering an end product with an intuitive and attractive user interface. In addition to working with the outside development team, Mr. Fleming leads an in-house team that has developed project solutions using ArcGIS, Excel/Visual Basic, Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI, and custom web applications. Recent projects focus on the development of applications utilizing ArcGIS and other mapping tools for data collection, site inspection, compliance auditing, geospatial analysis, and the communication of location-specific data to clients.

Mr. Fleming holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University, where he also received a minor in Environmental and Ecological Engineering and an M.A. in Teaching from Marian University. He joined KERAMIDA in 2014. Prior to joining KERAMIDA, Mr. Fleming was a 2012 Teach For America Corps Member in Indianapolis where he taught high school physics, chemistry, and mathematics.
