Matthew Velez

Matthew Velez is a cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in security analysis and network security. Currently serving as a Cyber Security Analyst at Kering since March 2025, Matthew previously held the position of Security Analyst at Everest from November 2023 to March 2025. Prior to that, Matthew worked as a Cloud Network Security Engineer at ClaimLogiq, focusing on Azure Cloud infrastructure and firewall management from May to November 2023. Additionally, Matthew served as a System Network Security Administrator at Essex County Vocational Technical Schools from August 2018 to May 2023, where responsibilities included managing Active Directory and user access controls. Matthew is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University, with an expected graduation date in 2024.
