Olivier Castel has extensive work experience in various roles within the telecommunications industry. Olivier began their career as a Software Engineer at DCNS in 1995, where they developed and validated a database tool for military use. After completing their military service, they joined Alcatel-Lucent in 1996 as a Telecom Software Engineer, where they designed, developed, and tested call control features in ATM switches and telephone exchanges. In 2002, they moved to EDS, where they worked as a Worldwide Deployment Engineer for Alcatel-Lucent, responsible for installing and upgrading telecom equipment in mobile networks. In 2006, they joined Nokia as a Worldwide Deployment Engineer, and later became a Technical Project Manager in Integration, leading the integration of applications in mobile networks for telecom operators globally. In 2015, they became an Integration Leader at Nokia, specializing in the integration of Wifi Calling and Voice over Wifi solutions for a major French mobile operator. Olivier also led the integration and tests strategy for Virtualized Network Functions in Openstack infrastructure. In 2016, they joined Kerlink as a Project Manager for IoT solutions, overseeing the deployment of IoT solutions for Public and Private LoRa networks, managing planning and deliverables.
