Aneesha Awrey

Aneesha Awrey has extensive experience in career counseling and educational support, currently serving as a Counselor for Career & Technical Education at Kern Community College District since August 2017. Previously, Aneesha held positions as Alumni Engagement Manager at California State University Bakersfield and Career Counselor at the University of San Diego, where responsibilities included counseling undergraduate students and collaborating on career-related programming. Additional roles include Career Advisor and Graduate Intern at UC San Diego, providing guidance on career development and graduate school admissions, as well as an internship at Steele Canyon High School aiding students in college applications. Aneesha began a teaching career as a Substitute Teacher for the San Diego Unified School District. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Counseling with a School Specialization from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UC San Diego.
