Hector Joel Gonzalez Santos

Hector Joel Gonzalez Santos has a diverse work experience. Hector Joel is currently the Chief Executive Officer at CII.IA since October 2020. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at Kernel, starting as a Software Engineer from August 2004 to September 2008. During this time, they developed web software solutions using PHP and MySQL and worked as a Software Engineer for BPM Solutions Savvion, utilizing Java, JavaScript, HQL, SQL, Hibernate, DWR, Prototype, and Spring. Hector Joel later served as the Process Manager (duration unspecified) and then became the Consulting Director and High Performance Software Development Team Coach from February 2008 until their current role as President & CEO, which began in February 2017.

Hector Joel Gonzalez Santos completed their Postgraduate Degree in Top Management (AD2) at IPADE Business School from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, they earned their Master's degree in Science Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University, where they studied from 2009 to 2011. Hector Joel also holds a Bachelor's degree in Software Development from Universidad Regiomontana S.C., which they obtained from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, they participated in a Study Abroad program at the University of Eastern Finland in 2007, focusing on Mobile Programming. In 2000, they began their higher education journey at Tecnológico de Monterrey.

In terms of additional certifications, Hector obtained the Artificial Intelligence Executive certification from MIT Sloan Executive Education in January 2018. Hector Joel also holds certifications such as CMMI-DEV Instructor and SCAMPI Lead Appraiser for Development, which they obtained from the CMMI Institute in June 2016. Furthermore, they completed the SEI - Certified TSP Mentor Coach certification from the Software Engineering Institute | Carnegie Mellon University in September 2013. In 2009, they achieved the SEI - Certified TSP Coach designation, and prior to that, in 2008, they obtained the SEI - PSP Authorized Instructor certification. Hector Joel gained the SEI - Certified PSP Developer certification in December 2007. Lastly, Hector completed the Unified Modeling Language Analyst certification from Milestone Consulting in August 2007.
