Kevin Dekofski

Kevin Dekofski has a wide range of experience in information technology and network engineering. Starting as a Network Engineer at Vanderweil Engineers in 1995, they were responsible for administering and maintaining the corporate network and remote sites. Kevin also handled the planning, design, and implementation of LAN/WAN and Internet Security technologies.

In 1998, Dekofski moved on to EMC as a Presales Engineer, where they worked for a year before transitioning to NEXL as a Senior Network Engineer. Kevin spent five years in this role, further developing their expertise in network engineering.

In 2005, Dekofski joined Shire Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Network Engineer, and after two years, they moved to Forsythe as a Senior Solutions Architect. At Forsythe, they managed a growing territory and supported account managers, ensuring availability of technical resources and business support. Dekofski played a key role in building lasting customer relationships and negotiating contracts with multiple manufacturers, resulting in a 20% cost savings in maintenance.

Returning to Shire Pharmaceuticals in 2010, Dekofski took on increasingly senior roles within the company's IT department. Kevin served as the Associate Director of Network Architect from 2011 to 2013, the Director of Network Infrastructure Architect & Operations from 2013 to 2016, and ultimately the Head of Global Network Services from 2016 to April 2018. In this position, they provided critical integration support following a merger and directed IT network and data center operations for the company.

From 2018 to 2021, Dekofski worked at Momenta Pharmaceuticals as the Head of IT Infrastructure & Operations, further expanding their expertise in IT management.

Most recently, Dekofski joined Keros Therapeutics in January 2022 as the Head of Information Technology.

Kevin Dekofski attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 1988 to 1990, where they studied Information Technology. Kevin did not obtain a degree during their time at the university. In terms of additional certifications, Kevin has obtained an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2021. Kevin also has certifications in CISSP, Cisco, ITIL v3 Foundations, and Microsoft, although specific details such as the institutions and the dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
