Cate Monteiro

Cate Monteiro is an experienced professional in the field of autism services and social work, with a career spanning various roles at Kerry's Place Autism Services since November 2016. As the Manager of Services and Supports, Cate actively supports staff in community programs, facilitating the development and implementation of new initiatives. Prior roles include Autism Consultant, Autism Associate, and Autism Support Assistant, each focused on enhancing the skills and support for individuals with autism. Additionally, a recent practicum at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital involved conducting assessments and analyzing program data. Previous experience includes assisting marginalized communities at The 519 and developing youth programming at the Christie Ossington Neighbourhood Centre. Cate holds a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Toronto Metropolitan University.
