Jaana Huttunen

Jaana Huttunen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Jaana began their career as a Journalist at Radio Jyväskylä in 1987. Jaana then worked as a Communications Officer at Co-operative Tradeka from 1992 to 1993, followed by a brief period as a Teacher and speech communication specialist at Laajasalon opisto in 1991. In 1994, Jaana worked as a Freelance Writer before joining Co-operative Tradeka again as a Communications Officer in 1994-1995.

Jaana then moved to Elanto-lehti / Osuusliike Elanto in 1996, where they served as a Managing Editor, Associate Editor, and Journalist until 2003. Following that, they joined Suomen Lähikauppa Oy as a Managing Editor from 2003 to 2008, where they later became the Communications Director responsible for both internal and external communications until 2016.

From 2017 onwards, Jaana has been associated with Kesko - K-Group, where they first worked as a Senior Communications Manager specializing in Internal Communications from 2017 to 2018. Jaana then served as the Director of K Culture & Employee Communications from 2018 to 2019. Currently, Jaana holds the position of Vice President, Communications, K Group Grocery trade since January 2020.

Jaana Huttunen completed their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Speech Communication at the University of Jyväskylä from 1984 to 1992. From 1988 to 1992, they studied Communication, Social psychology, and Adult education at the University of Helsinki. In 2003 to 2005, Jaana pursued Magazine concepts at the University of Art and Design Helsinki.
