Karlis Majevskis

Karlis Majevskis, CIA, CISA, is a seasoned professional in internal audit and information technology, currently serving as Senior Manager of Group Internal Audit at Kesko - K-Group since February 2012. Their responsibilities include assessing control, risk management, and governance across Baltic and Scandinavian regions, as well as Russia and Belarus, within diverse retail sectors. Additionally, Karlis holds the position of Chair of the Internal Audit Committee for the Government of the Republic of Latvia since July 2021, having previously served as Deputy Chair. Their earlier roles include leadership positions at various companies, including Rautakesko and Statoil Latvia, and Karlis has significant experience in IT systems development and project management.
