Matti Saastamoinen

Matti Saastamoinen has extensive experience in sourcing and sales within the retail sector, primarily at Kesko, where Matti has held various managerial roles since 2001. Currently serving as a Sourcing and Sales Manager at Kesko - K-Group since December 2016, responsibilities include developing local supplier partnerships, enhancing category growth, and managing global projects, including private label sourcing and an online store initiative in China. Previous positions at Kesko Food Ltd. ranged from Head of Global Sourcing and Sales for China to Purchasing Manager, overseeing diverse product lines. Matti also has foundational experience in category planning and retail training, supported by a Master of Science degree in Food Science, Economy, and Marketing from the University of Helsinki.
