Deborah Zayas is the Market Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for Kessler’s Institute’s four inpatient rehabilitation hospitals in New Jersey. She is responsible for the overall quality of care, patient safety, patient and family experience, nursing practice and standards of care and leadership development/succession planning.
Prior to joining Kessler in 2019, Deborah Zayas served as vice president of nursing at Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, N.J. She is active in several professional groups, including the American Organization of Nurse Executives, American Nurses Association, Healthcare Informatics of New Jersey and the New Jersey Organizations of both Nurse Leaders and Health Care Executives.
Deborah was awarded a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Felician University and a Master of Public Administration from Rutgers University. She also holds a registered nurse diploma from Holy Name Hospital School of Nursing.
