Sue Kida was named president of Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in 2015, with operational oversight of its four hospital campuses. She is responsible for ensuring the overall quality and safety of care, regulatory compliance, financial management and the strategic growth of the organization. Ms. Kida previously served in a dual role as Kessler’s vice-president/COO and CEO of the Chester campus.

Since joining Kessler in 1982 as a staff physical therapist, Sue has held positions of increasing responsibility, including director of rehab services and assistant vice president of administration. She has been instrumental in implementing new programs, improving patient outcomes and building strong relationships within the health care community. Sue has also helped to ensure the hospital’s successful tri-annual Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and Joint Commission accreditation surveys.

Sue has presented at national meetings and conferences, including the American Medical Rehabilitation Providers Association (AMRPA), American Academy Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPMR) and the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Sue earned a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from the State University of New Yof ork at Stoney Brook and a master’s in health, care administration from Seton Hall University.
