Ruzanna Atoyan

Ruzanna Atoyan is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Kestrel Therapeutics since April 2023. Previously, Ruzanna held positions at Skyhawk Therapeutics as a Scientist from January 2019 to April 2023 and at Curis as a Principal Associate Scientist from November 2007 to November 2018, where Ruzanna contributed to target validation, biomarker identification, and cancer research projects. Ruzanna has a strong background in experimental design and execution, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, alongside a rich history of mentoring junior scientists and engaging with contract research organizations. Ruzanna's early career included a role as a Research Associate at Boston University School of Medicine, where Ruzanna initiated studies in molecular biology and genetics. Ruzanna's educational background features multiple MD degrees from institutions including Yerevan State Medical Institute and The First Medical School of Moscow.
