Michael L. Kress

Michael L. Kress is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in engineering and product development. Currently serving as the Director of Integration and Strategic Programs at KESTREL Vision and President of Fenix Research and Kress Farms LLC., Kress has a passion for solving complex technical challenges and providing strategic insights. Previous roles include VP of Engineering at USA Firmware, where responsibilities involved developing embedded hardware and firmware products focused on IoT and machine learning solutions, and Vice President of Product Development at Applied Vision Corporation, leading interdisciplinary teams to deliver advanced machine vision products for the food and beverage packaging industry. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Akron.
