Mus'Ab Shaharom

Mus'ab Shaharom has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to 2020. Mus'ab started their career as an FPGA Design Engineer at Fullcast Technology in 2007 and worked there until February 2008. Mus'ab then moved on to Sanyo Automedia, Gunma Japan, where they worked as an Analogue Design Engineer from March 2008 to December 2008. In 2019, they founded Virtue Research Ltd. and held the role of Founder. Currently, Mus'ab is employed at Kestrl as the Head of Data, a position they have held since June 2020. In this role, they are responsible for building great products such as a bank transactions categorization engine, stock screener, and automated credit assessment. Additionally, Mus'ab has expertise in AWS data architecture, serverless and microservices infrastructure, ML and NLP projects, ETL/ELT, data pipeline, web scraping, and end-to-end ML workflow.

Mus'ab Shaharom completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford between 2013 and 2018. Prior to that, Mus'ab obtained an MSc in Analogue and Digital IC Design from Imperial College London and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University.
