Yong Tang

Yong Tang, Ph.D, MBA has extensive experience in research and development, particularly in the areas of materials science and engineering. Their work experience includes roles such as Director of Business Development at Ketjen Corporation, Research Associate at PPG, and R&D Engineer at Albemarle Corporation. Yong has also held positions as an R&D Engineer at Dynamic Innovations, LLC and as a Research Associate at the University of Central Florida and NYU Tandon School of Engineering. In these roles, they have been involved in various projects, including the development of thermal management materials, polyurethane coatings, and carbon fiber reinforced composites. Yong Tang has a strong research background and has contributed to advancements in polymer nanocomposites and flame retardancy technology.

Yong Tang, Ph.D, MBA, completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at LSU Shreveport in 2023. Prior to that, in 2022, Tang completed the Executive Leadership Program - Leading Global Business at Harvard Business School. Tang holds a Ph.D in Polymer Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China, earned between 2000 and 2005. Tang's undergraduate studies include a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry from Fuyang Normal University, completed between 1995 and 1999.
