Scott Hoiland

Scott Hoiland is the Co-Founder of Keto Krate, a monthly subscription service that delivers healthy ketogenic snacks to your door. Prior to starting Keto Krate, Scott worked in the energy efficiency and GHG reduction field for both Devon Energy and ICF International. At Devon Energy, Scott was responsible for researching, vetting and implementing clean tech based pilot projects aimed at reducing energy usage and GHGs. Scott also helped develop and manage an Industrial Energy Efficiency Program in Saskatchewan while at ICF International.

Scott's interest in energy efficiency and GHG reduction stems from their background in engineering. Scott started their career as a Junior Maintenance Engineer with Elk Valley Coal before moving on to work as a Lab Technician with AMEC Earth and Environmental. In both roles, Scott was able to gain valuable experience in the energy sector which they have used to help make Keto Krate a more sustainable company.

Scott Hoiland has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and a Certificate in Communication for Professionals from the University of Toronto. Scott also has a certificate in Spanish from the Patagonia Spanish School (Portland Institute).
