Erik Franken

Erik Franken has over 25 years of experience in the investment industry. From 2002 to 2005, they worked as an Investment Analyst at RQSI/Access. In 2005, they joined AlphaMetrix, LLC as a Senior Investment Analyst and Managing Director of Due Diligence. In 2014, they moved to Balyasny Asset Management L.P. as Director of Due Diligence, where they were responsible for providing operational due diligence services to potential and existing qualified and institutional clients. In 2015, they became Director, Manager Research at Kettera Strategies, specializing in hedge funds and alternative investments. In 2021, they joined Third Wire Asset Management as an Investment Committee Board Member.

Erik Franken obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. Erik also holds the CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) and CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certifications.
