James Nixon is an accomplished audio professional with extensive experience in sound design and audio engineering. Since April 2019, James has served as Principal Technical Sound Designer at Undead Labs, progressing through roles as Senior Technical Sound Designer and Sound Designer. Additionally, James has been involved in education as a Protools Instructor at the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program and a Certified ProTools Instructor at Digify. An in-studio mix engineer at KEXP since 2006, James has also maintained a freelance career in audio engineering since 2001, providing services ranging from recording to sound design. Previous experience includes sound design and audio engineering roles at Microsoft Game Studios and Glenn Sound, contributing to numerous high-profile video game titles. James holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Production & Engineering from Berklee College of Music and completed further studies at the Northwest Film Scoring Program.
