Matthew Phillips

Matthew Phillips, PE, MBA, currently serves as the Director of Construction at Key Capture Energy since April 2023. Prior experience includes roles such as Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager/Senior Structural Engineer at Burns & McDonnell from October 2017 to April 2023, and Power Projects Development Lead Engineer at GE Energy Connections from February 2014 to September 2017, where responsibilities spanned multiple functions including Project Control Analyst and Site Management. Earlier positions include Lead Civil Engineer at Black & Veatch, where contributions were made to significant projects such as the Northeast Grid Reliability Project, and Field Engineer Intern at JE Dunn Construction. Matthew Phillips holds an MBA from Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago, and another MBA from Rockhurst University, along with a degree in Architectural Engineering from The University of Kansas. Education was completed at De Smet Jesuit High School.
