An early adopter of innovative technology, Paula Hunter remembers her college days of keypunch cards on IBM mainframes and later selling "luggables", IBM's 27-pound laptops. Her interest in what she affectionately coins "the lunatic fringe of technology" was reflected in one of her early post-university jobs, at Digital, where she marketed molecular modeling and computational chemistry software to scientists who were amongst the avant-garde of testing and using technology. Paula's excitement about cMeRun is the entrée it will provide to the non-early adopters by enabling easy access to computing without requiring a user to have the technical savoir-faire of a rocket scientist.
