Vincella Thompson

Vincella Joined Keyano College in 2003 as an instructor in the Childhood Studies Department. She was the Coordinator for the Collaborative Bachelor of Education Degree through the University of Alberta. She became Chair of the University Studies Arts department before her appointment as Dean in the School of Health and Human Services and her current role as of Dean of University Studies, Career Programs, and Academic Upgrading. She provided leadership as the past President of the Keyano College Faculty Association and Chair of the Professional Development Committee. She is presently a member of the Special Cases Committee and Chair of the Animal Care Committee. Vincella is also a mentor to several faculty members as they develop leadership skills in the Chair Academy and academic pursuits. She is passionate about helping students to find the right career path and to succeed in their chosen field of study.
