Dan Hounslow has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Dan started their career as a Chemistry instructor at Mexia ISD from 2002 to 2008. Following this, they worked as a Physics Instructor and Science Department Chair at Harding Charter Preparatory High School from 2008 to 2013.
In 2012, Dan took on the role of an IT Consultant at the E.D. Consortium, where they provided expertise and advice on technology-related matters. Dan then joined the University of Oklahoma K20 Center in 2013, first as a C3/ALT STEM Specialist for a brief period, and later as an OETT Field Technology Specialist. Dan later became the Team Lead for Content Design & Development and took on additional responsibilities such as project management, visual and text-based design, process improvement, and client communication. Throughout their work at KeyBridge Technologies, Inc., they followed the ADDIE model of instructional design and emphasized Agile development using SCRUM methodology.

Dan Hounslow earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Oklahoma State University, which they attended from 1994 to 2000. Later, they pursued a Master's of Education (MEd) degree in Instructional Psychology and Technology: Instructional Design from the University of Oklahoma, attending from 2013 to 2015.
