Jean Smith has extensive experience in human resources and consumer banking, having served in various leadership roles. At Fifth Third Bank from October 1988 to October 1992, Jean was instrumental in establishing the bank’s presence in the Northeastern Ohio market and led sales and lending activities within the Indirect Lending Group. As Vice President and Senior HR Business Partner for the Ohio/Michigan Region, Jean provided strategic support for 3,500 employees, focusing on retention, employee engagement, and diversity. In the Northeastern Ohio Affiliate, Jean implemented programs aimed at development and engagement within the organization. Since March 2015, Jean has held the position of Senior HR Business Partner - Vice President at KeyBank. Jean earned both a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Baldwin-Wallace College.
