Karen Asher is a seasoned financial services professional with extensive experience in risk management, credit oversight, and board leadership. Currently serving as a Financial Services Examiner at the NYS Department of Financial Services since January 2018, Karen also holds the position of Risk Manager and Credit Officer at KeyBank, N.A., a role maintained since 2012. Additionally, Karen chairs the Board of Directors for Equinox, Inc., after previously serving as President and Treasurer, and has been a dedicated Treasurer and Board Member for the AIDS Council of Northeastern New York since 2007.
