Ron Matthews

Ron Matthews is a seasoned information security professional with extensive experience in web application security and infrastructure. Since February 2015, Ron has served as a Senior Information Security Consultant at KeyBank, focusing on web application penetration testing, Web Application Firewall (WAF) implementations, and vulnerability management. Prior to this role, Ron held leadership positions at Alert Logic, where responsibilities included overseeing the Web Application Security Team and Log Review Team, ensuring security and compliance for clients. Ron's earlier experience includes an internship with McAfee, where contributions were made to global security efforts, and a technical support role with the City of Niles. Ron holds a BS in Information Security & Intelligence from Ferris State University and associate degrees in Network Administration and IT Support from Southwestern Michigan College.
