Michael Crothers (P.eng

Michael Crothers (P.Eng, ICD.D) has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a Director at Cenovus Energy since November 2023 and as a Director at Keyera Corporation since June 2021. Prior to these roles, Michael held various leadership positions at Shell from December 1987 to April 2021, including VP of Canada Integrated Gas, Canada President and Country Chair, and Executive Vice President of Oil Sands, Canada. Michael's career at Shell also encompassed operations, technical, and commercial roles, as well as managing exploration and production in Ireland. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (with Distinction) from the University of Alberta and has completed the Directors Education Program at ICD-Rotman and received the ICD.D designation in June 2023.
