Elmira Shamlou

Elmira Shamlou is a Senior Engineer and Advanced Process Modeling and Optimization Engineer at KeyLogic since November 2022. Prior to this role, Elmira served as a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering from April 2022 to October 2022, following the completion of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the same institution from January 2017 to January 2022. Elmira's research expertise includes simulation and nonlinear programming optimization of various desalination processes, such as Membrane Distillation, Mechanical Vapor Compression, Multi-Effect Distillation, Reverse Osmosis, and Osmotically Assisted Reverse Osmosis. Additionally, Elmira holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Tehran, obtained between January 2013 and January 2014.
