Benita Holmes, CPA

Benita Holmes, CPA has a long history of work experience. Starting in 2004, they were a Teacher Assistant for the University of Dubuque's UD4Kids program. In 2006, they took a job as a Crew Member for Cold Stone Creamery. Benita then worked as a Shoe Sales Associate for Younkers from 2010-2017. During that time, they also had internships as a Finance & Revenue Intern for the City of Clarksville and a Tax Intern for Stone Rudolph & Henry, PLC. In 2017, they became a Campus Ambassador for Becker Professional Education. From 2018-2019, they worked as a Staff Accountant for McCoy NationaLease and McCoy Construction & Forestry. Most recently, they have been a Tax and Compliance Accountant for Westmark Enterprises in Dubuque, IA since 2021, and is currently a Senior Accountant for KeyMe Locksmiths.

Benita Holmes, CPA began their educational journey at Ashford University in 2013, where they studied Finance. Benita then transferred to Austin Peay State University in 2015 and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting and Finance in 2018. In July 2020, they obtained their CPA certification from the State of Iowa.
