Markus Schneider

Markus Schneider has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on clean energy and electric vehicles. Markus currently holds the position of COO and General Manager at KEYOU since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Operations Officer at KEYOU and as a Production Specialist for High Voltage Batteries at BMW Group. Markus also served as a Manager for High Voltage Battery Projects and Manager for eDrive Integration & Series Support at BMW Brilliance Automotive.

Before their time at BMW, Markus co-founded the non-profit company Grünschnitt gGmbH, where they worked as an Honorary Co-Founder to promote the integration of people with disabilities in the regular labor market.

In addition, Markus worked as a Program Manager at GIGATRONIK and held various roles at Alset GmbH, including Vice President of Technology and Vice President of Operations.
