Miguel Santos

Miguel Santos has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Miguel started their career as an athlete at the Sicasal/Constantinos U23 cycling team, where they competed in major races and developed important professional skills such as responsibility, perseverance, and teamwork. After that, they worked as a summer trainee in quality management at Caetano Retail.

In 2018, Miguel joined IPFN - Instituto de Plasmas e Fusão Nuclear, where they initially worked as a mechanical project summer trainee, designing a compact AGV for cargo transportation. This led to a longer collaboration with IPFN, during which they became a mechanical project apprentice/trainee and contributed to the Formula Fusion project by refining the concept of mobile robots for cargo transportation.

In 2019, Miguel joined FST Lisboa, working as a cooling responsible in the Powertrain department. Their responsibilities included thermal modeling and cooling optimization of electric vehicle powertrain components, seeking innovation under strict competition regulations, and collaborating with other departments. Miguel also played a role in 3D printing parts.
