Rebecca Neal

Rebecca Neal has over five years of professional experience in human resources, administrative coordination, translation, project assistance, and public relations. In 2019, they began working as a Human Resources Operations Specialist and Administrative Coordinator at Keyrock. From 2016-2019, they worked at Plurilingua Publishing as an In-house Translator, where they translated and proofread titles, maintained the collections' websites, developed an in-house style guide, and trained and supervised translation interns. In 2016, they worked as a Spanish-Speaking Project Assistant at Colombian Caravana, where they conducted research on human rights in Colombia, translated documents from Spanish to English, wrote letters to funding bodies, and wrote articles and summaries in English and Spanish. From 2014-2016, they worked as a PR Intern at Rocket Internet, where they co-ordinated PR activity for five companies, wrote and proofread press releases in English, and translated press releases from French to English.

Rebecca Neal's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in French and Spanish from the University of Oxford, which they obtained between 2011 and 2015. Rebecca then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Professional Translating for European Languages from Newcastle University between 2015 and 2016. Additionally, Rebecca attended Penistone Grammar School Sixth Form from 2009 to 2011. Finally, Rebecca holds three certifications from SDL plc, obtained in May 2016: SDL Trados Studio 2014 for Translators - Advanced, SDL Trados Studio 2014 for Translators - Getting Started, and SDL Trados Studio 2014 for Translators - Intermediate.
