Reza Ghadiri-Zare has had a varied career in legal counsel and advisory roles. Reza began their career in 2011 as a litigation counsel for Lloyds Banking Group before moving on to become a solicitor for Maclay Murray & Spens LLP in 2010 and eventually joining the Legal team at Standard Chartered Bank in 2013. At Standard Chartered Bank, they held several roles including Group Legal Advisor, Group Legal Counsel, and Acting Head of Legal for Distressed Assets. In 2019, they became a Legal Counsel for ConsenSys, a blockchain technology company, before moving on to become the Security Obligations Lead for Amazon Web Services EMEA in 2020. Reza later became Head of Legal for EMEA at Menai Financial Group in 2022. Most recently, they joined Keyrock in 2023 as General Counsel.
Reza Ghadiri-Zare obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of York from 1996 to 1999. Later, from 2005 to 2007, they obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree with a focus on Law at Edinburgh Law School. Reza also completed a Diploma in Legal Practice from the same school in 2008.
