Alakendu Jana

Alakendu Jana is an experienced Principal Software Engineer at Keysight Technologies since May 2017, with a prior role as Technical Lead at Ixia from July 2006 to April 2017. At Ixia, Alakendu developed a High Level API for IxNetwork and designed a BPS automation framework from scratch, contributing to the development of a regression harness (IxLoad) using Python and validating the IxLoad random data generation engine in WAN Optimizer (Riverbed Steelhead). Earlier in the career, Alakendu served as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer, focusing on test case development, bug reporting, and regression testing in areas such as HTTP, SSL, and IPSec, gaining expertise in configuring and debugging various devices, including F5 and Cisco equipment. Alakendu holds an M. Tech. in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur and a B.E. in Information Technology from Burdwan University.
