Scott Wei has a diverse range of work experience, beginning in 2005 as a Junior Software Developer at Automated Financial Systems, Inc. During their time there, they developed a web-based trading platform and managed help desk support for important brokerage accounts.
In 2005, they also began working at House Foods America as a Sales Representative, where they were responsible for prospecting, cold calling, pipeline management, and negotiation. Scott also handled B2C account management and new business development, as well as in-store product merchandising and SKU rationalization. Scott later became the East Coast Sales Supervisor, overseeing sales expansion and developing new OEM projects, increasing revenue by 180% within 2 years.
Starting in 2010, Scott worked at Vitasoy USA Inc. as a Sales Manager, managing over $9 million in sales of food products throughout the Eastern US and Canada. Scott planned promotional strategies, determined product assortments for each account, and analyzed POS data to generate proactive sales promotions and maximize ROI.
In 2016, Scott joined Keystone Natural Holdings as the VP of Sales and Marketing. In this role, they oversaw the entire sales and marketing operation, developed plans and strategies for business expansion, and exceeded the company's sales goals. Scott managed key accounts, evaluated program results, and allocated trade and marketing budgets effectively. Scott led marketing initiatives such as brand positioning, package revamp, new product launches, and website development. Scott also collaborated with the CEO and senior management team in delivering quarterly board meeting reporting, and worked with other departments to identify and fulfill gaps to budgets.
Throughout their work experience, Scott demonstrated strong leadership skills, successfully achieving results and driving revenue growth.
Scott Wei attended Baruch College from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained an MBA in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2004, they attended the University of Tsukuba for an unspecified degree and field of study. Scott Wei completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from Stony Brook University from 2000 to 2004.
