Tasha Schoenstein, PhD, is a researcher at Sutter Hill Ventures, where the focus is on financing and building successful companies. Previously, Tasha served as a Doctoral Researcher at Harvard University, leading a four-year independent study on the history of computing, mathematics, and engineering in the United States, culminating in a book-length manuscript. Tasha has also held positions as a Pedagogy Fellow and Teaching Fellow at Harvard, mentoring graduate students and facilitating discussions in various courses. Early experience includes serving as a Lab Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where Tasha coached computer science students. Tasha's educational background includes a PhD and MS from Harvard University, as well as a BS from MIT in Mathematics with Computer Science.
