Emiliano Perez

Emiliano Perez has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Emiliano started their career in 2006 as a Tech Support and Web Developer at NUTHOST SRL before moving on to become a Server Administrator. Emiliano worked on GNU/Linux server management, server security, and L3 Tech Support during their time there.

In 2009, they joined Taringa! as an IT Infrastructure Engineer and Team Leader, where they handled GNU/Linux server management, hardware management, DDoS attack mitigation, and remote backup management. Emiliano also worked with various scripts and technologies like CentOS, cPanel, Apache, Nginx, and PHPlist.

Following their role at Taringa!, Emiliano joined WIROOS as an IT Infrastructure Engineer and Team Leader. Emiliano led a team of System Administrators and focused on GNU/Linux server management, L3 Tech Support, hardware management, and DDoS attack mitigation. Emiliano also worked with technologies such as CentOS, cPanel, Apache, Nginx, and MySQL.

From 2013 to 2016, Emiliano worked at Socialmetrix as a DevOps Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for deploying and managing scalable services on Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure. Emiliano also conducted research and implemented modern services like Docker, Kafka, and Cassandra. Additionally, they provided tech support, managed office infrastructure and networking, and worked with a wide range of technologies including Java/Play, C#/.Net, Docker, Capistrano, and ELK stack.

In 2016, Emiliano joined Duplika as an IT Consultant, where they provided consulting services to clients and worked on various IT projects.

In 2018, Emiliano joined Etermax as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer and Team Lead. Emiliano headed a team of 5 engineers and was responsible for performance evaluations, training, screening new hires, and budget management. Emiliano also worked on projects related to high availability, monitoring and alerting systems, Kubernetes expansion, and CI/CD automation. Their role involved managing and automating licensing and CI/CD processes for Unity projects.

During their time at Ualá from 2021 to 2022, Emiliano served as a Cloud Architect, focusing on cloud architecture and infrastructure.

Currently, Emiliano works at Keyway as a Site Reliability Engineer and Team Lead.

Emiliano Perez completed their education from 2000 to 2006 at ET26 - Confederación Suiza, where they obtained a degree in IT. Emiliano then went on to pursue a degree in Videogame Development from 2014 to 2018 at Escuela Da Vinci. In addition to their formal education, Emiliano obtained certifications in cPanel & WHM Administrator and cPanel & WHM System Administrator I from cPanel in July 2017.
