Chris Nicol has over a decade of experience in electrical engineering, currently serving as an Electrical Engineer at SMART Technologies since July 2010. In this role, Chris is part of a cross-functional team focused on developing collaborative solutions, particularly working on hardware for Digital Vision Touch interactive whiteboards and other educational devices. Previously, Chris held the position of Firmware Engineer at SMART Technologies, where responsibilities included developing firmware and diagnostic tools for similar products. Additional experience includes working as an Electronics Contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation, participating as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary, and contributing as an Electronics Engineer at Grindcom, developing control systems for the forestry industry. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
