Catalina Luncasu-Rolea

Catalina Luncasu-Rolea is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in hardware development and testing. Currently serving as a Senior Developer at Keywords Studios since September 2023, Catalina has previously held roles such as Hardware Engineer at Amazon, where responsibilities included industrial automation and computer vision, and Design Verification Engineer at Microsoft, contributing to the launch of Surface Pen products. Prior experience as a Hardware Test Engineer at EASi involved testing Surface accessories, while research work at the University of Washington focused on electromagnetics and sensor prototypes. Educational achievements include a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, complemented by an Associate’s Degree in Engineering from Bellevue College.
